(Between 1:44 - 3:00) What I was hearing in my mind (on World PEACE Day) was this: "Adversity & chaos can unite and transform us, if we know how to find our way we can build any bridge. We can unite in a universal language based on openness, respect & honour; we can unite within ourselves, to inspire the spirit of who we are and bring out the best in each other; we can unite at the heart of any matter (in this case "global leadership on climate change") to reframe our understanding of peace; we can create new clear boundaries that are balanced by true justice and mercy; we can learn to story one another from birth to death in a way that transforms our joy, meaning and purpose in life. If we really want politicians to act differently don't we need to do more than just keep calling on them to act and to 'find solutions'? Wouldn't it help them along to show them solutions on a new scale of ambition? 'Mitigating climate change' sounds so weedy it's no wonder things have got worse ever since climate talks started. Dealing with our environment/climate change is individual responsibility. Do not make it political by involving and shifting the responsibility to world leaders. We should be thankful if the Elders with their powerful connection could talk some of them out of constant wars which account for much environmental and human destruction. Lead the people by example of living simply and caring for Mother Earth, reduce our own carbon-footprints. There really is no reason for high-profiled summits that really only serve self/special-interest groups. If you must have a summit, try teleconferencing tools instead. It is an oxymoron to highlight climate change while expecting attendees to increase their carbon footprint by flying in to New York. Such a waste of resources. How can you possibly expect anyone to take you seriously?

If I may be so bold as to suggest, The Elders should lead by example as Desmond Tutu preaches. With current technologies, you don't really need to be in Paris unless you are cycling there. Reduce your carbon footprints by using teleconferencing tools to deliver your message(s).

I've been trawling through RUclips, watching documentary after documentary about Cyprus - and none feature any Turkish Cypriots. I know about ENOSIS (the Greek wish to unite the island with Greece), I know about EOKA B targetting Turkish Cypriots - but all we ever hear about in these documentaries is the Turkish invasion. *Not the reason for it.* There WAS a Turkish Cypriot population on the island for hundreds of years. Someone needs to create an honest, two-sided documentary.

They are being exploited, not by superstition and witch doctors but on a much grander scale, not villages but countries. But as of old they are being asked to make sacrifices, to curb their ambitions and hopes, to accept a lower standard of living, to be happy just to breath.
